Short Vowels Camp
Two-Week Summer Sessions with Daily Live Instruction
Session 1: Mondays - Fridays June 30 - July 3 & July 7-11 | 10-10:30 AM PT (Nine 30 minute sessions total: No session on Friday July 4th)
Cost: $175 per session
Format: Live on Zoom | Small Group (4–6 students)
Instructor: Theo, Orton Gillingham Specialist
Ages: 5+
Designed for kids ages 5 and up who are learning to read and spell short vowel words like jump, spin, grass, and chimp, this camp offers a warm, engaging environment where struggling readers can build essential skills with confidence. The shorter 30-minute sessions match the attention span of younger students. These camps are a perfect fit whether your child has dyslexia or another learning difference or just needs an extra boost to kickstart their reading. We use the Orton Gillingham approach which is structured, multisensory, and highly supportive, so every child feels successful and seen.
Campers will participate in hands-on, playful activities that reinforce phonemic awareness, letter-sound correspondence, and decoding strategies—all while having fun. Our small-group format allows us to meet each student exactly where they are, adapting our methods to support neurodivergent learners with care and expertise. Kids leave camp not just stronger readers, but more confident learners. If your child is early in their reading journey and needs a boost in a safe, affirming space, this camp is for them!
Sign up now to reserve your spot—space is limited to ensure each child gets the support they need!
